The Albert Atherton Purdue University calendar is a monthly calendar which features photographs of the Purdue University campus, along with the dates for each month in 1917. The cover is made of leather and is embossed with the griffin, "Purdue" and 1917. The pages are held together by strips of leather, with holes punched through the pages.

One framed artifact containing a small American flag, two space mission patches (Gemini IX, Stafford-Cernan) and (Apollo X, Stafford-Young-Cernan), a Purdue University Centennial Year flag (1869-1969), and a note from astronaut Eugene Cernan, "These flags and patches were carried to the moon on Apollo 10.
