The Kenneth E. McConnaughay collection contains a copy of McConnaughay's "Touring Europe" compilation of letters, photos, and sketches sent by McConnaughay during his European travels in the 1950s, including commentary on paving and road construction. The collection also includes a 1973 Purdue Alumnus article about his honorary doctorate and his 1975 Lafayette Journal and Courier obituary.

Includes 18 diaries written by Bertha Kate Gaddis, a long-term teacher in the Lafayette area and sister to Lella Gaddis, Indiana's first state leader of Home Demonstration.
