Brown Papers [360 cubic feet] document the professional life and some of the personal life of Herbert Brown, winner of the 1979 Nobel Prize for Chemistry and former Purdue University professor. The collection consists of professional papers, personal papers, publications, professional and personal correspondence, research records, university and departmental papers, graduate student work and records, photographs, awards, memorabilia, and artwork.

Content Description Materials created about the University Affiliation Program between Purdue University and Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria from 1984 to 1992. It was a professor exchange program held every year from, 1986. The collection includes correspondence between Purdue and Ahamdu Bello, books owned/given to Purdue Professors during their visit to Nigeria, a cap, air tickets of the trip, evaluation reports, funding documents, and other educational materials.

Also included is Houser's scrapbook containing newsclippings and ephemera dated 1913 through 1915 affixed to pages of a Saturday Evening Post magazine dated October 1909.
