The Susan Houston Fortune Papers (1955-1959; 0.5 cubic feet) document the life of Susan Fortune when she was a student at Purdue University in the 1950s. The collection includes a scrapbook and Susan Houston's corduroy skirt (Purdue senior cord skirt).
Susan Houston [Fortune] received her B.S. degree in Home Economics from Purdue University in 1959. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. George F. Houston of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

The Women’s Studies program kept a VHS video library consisting of departmental recordings of local events and a smaller selection of professional/commercial films. The departmental recordings have been added to the collection, while the professional/commercial films have not. A complete list of the original film collection is available. Purdue Archives and Special collections plans to convert the VHS recordings to digital formats, but this project is not complete.
