Scope and Contents

This subseries consists of materials to pertaining to six women cooperative houses (Ann Tweedale, Glenwood, Maclure, Shoemaker, Stewart, Twin Pines) and their activities on Purdue’s campus. The material includes housing contracts, officer forms, pledge programs, fire and health reports, constitutions and by-laws as well as alumni and membership information. Of particular interest might be the Graduate Resident Manual, as it contextualizes the women cooperative houses within cooperative life in general. Types of materials include: clippings, correspondence, scholastic indexes, rosters, minutes.

Access Information

Series is open for research but some material from Sub-series 1, boxes 21 and 22 has been restricted as it contained personal information of a sensitive nature, such as grades and social security information. This restricted material was removed and placed in box 26 (restricted).
