This subseries includes awards, certificates, and framed objects that Cornish received over his extensive career and numerous accomplishments as a pilot. His posthumous induction into the International Forest of Friendship occurred in 1997. Of note is his Guinness World Record award for being the oldest actively flying pilot at the age of 96 years, 279 days as of August 16, 1995.

Artifacts include a military service flag and a sewing kit. Other items of note are correspondence to family during World War One depicting his first flight and the Spanish flu epidemic, photographs and clippings from his early years serving in the military, and a military service flag from World War One.
