Scope and Contents
This series includes documents, correspondence, photographs, clippings, and artifacts related to Clarence Frank Cornish's time served in World War One, his work with the Army Reserves, service with the Army Air Forces for World War Two, and his retirement. Of note are letters Cornish wrote home while at camp during World War One depicting his first flight, growing interest in flying, and mention of the 1918 Spanish influenza pandemic, in addition to artifacts such as military pins and a military service flag from World War I.
