Historical Information
The Class of 1917 was an alumni organization at Purdue University. It was founded by Purdue alumni who graduated from the university in 1917. The purpose of the organization was to keep members of the Class of 1917 in contact with one another, through organizing and promoting class reunions, and publishing class newsletters and directories. The President of the organization was Ralph A. Innis.

A photocopy of the newspaper article has been created for viewing (box 88, placement 3) due to the fragility of the original. If viewing the original copy (box 47, placement 24), the article should be handled with care.

Source and date of acquisition are unknown.
Processing Information
All materials have been housed in acid-free folders and acid-free boxes. Newsprint has been photocopied and the original newspaper clippings have been sleeved and moved to an oversize box.
