Historical Information
The Class of 1942 was an alumni organization at Purdue University. It was founded by Purdue alumni who graduated from the university in 1942. The purpose of the organization was to keep members of the Class of 1942 in contact with one another, through organizing and promoting class reunions, and publishing class newsletters and directories. The college experience of the Class of 1942 was deeply influenced by World War II, where they experienced a university-wide shift towards military efforts.
