Wetherill, Richard Benbridge, 1859-1940

Biographical Information

Dr. Richard Benbridge Wetherill was a prominent citizen of Lafayette, Indiana. He taught at Purdue University and practiced medicine from 1886 to 1919, then spent the rest of his life on travel, writing, and philanthropy. The Wetherill Laboratory of Chemistry is named in his honor.
