Biographical Information

Guy J. "Red" Mackey attended Purdue University as a student, earning his bachelor's degree in agriculture in 1929. After graduation, he worked for the univserity as a coach and the athletic director. Purdue University's basketball arena, completed for the 1967-1968 season, was dedicated to honor Mackey.
