The collection (1946-1948; 0.4 cubic feet) documents post-World War II campus life in satirical fashion. According to the donor, Charles (Chuck) Klinger, the LIMP RIVET was a collegiate humor magazine comparable to the Harvard LAMPOON, Michigan State SPARTAN, Michigan GARGOYLE and the Ohio State SUNDIAL. Of particular interest might be the few loose pages from the Purdue Debris and a letter from the donor providing additional historical background, as he held various positions for the magazine...
