The collection consists of correspondence, notes, and photographs relating to Blakesley's tenure as the Vice-President and President of the University Club. Of particular interest might be the material on an event honoring President Hovde's retirement that was hosted by the club. These photographs detail events and student life at the Black Cultural Center (BCC). Images include past BCC students and staff, Performing Arts Ensembles group photos, and scenes shot from the inside or outside of the BCC. Also included are images of the demolition of the old BCC building on University Street, and an undated trip to Africa.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: The collection contains the 100th Anniversary first day cover of the official airmail, Balloon "Jupiter," Lafayette, Indiana, 1859 and a copy of the souvenir booklet issued at that time. It also contains four United States, "Jupiter" postage stamps, commemorating the 100th anniversary in 1959.
