Scope and Contents Rose, also known as Mrs. V.W. Lawrence, is Elmer Jr's aunt. There is mention of Mildred and Audrey (both also in this series), in a couple of her letters to Elmer. In her letters, she talks about her life updates and asks how Elmer is doing. She made a couple of comments of how she hopes he stays in the country, and provides updates on her son, Edward Lawrence, as he is in the military as well.
