Scope and Contents

The four scrapbooks contain, but are not limited to, photographs, fliers, articles, posters, newspaper clippings, and other information relating to promotional material and performances by the Purdue Division of Dance. Highlights include the first Purdue Repertory Dance Company logo and articles concerning the dedication of Yue-Kong Pao Hall.

Scope and Contents This digital material consists of nineteen digital folders and are arranged by the year and the term of the semester – most of performances were conducted in either the winter or spring. Original names and organization of digital files and folder subdivisions have been maintained. Many of the folders contain photographs in relation to the performance, as well as photographs, audio, and recordings of the actual performance itself preserved in a video format. Scope and Contents The last scrapbook, 2004 – 2012 begins with one item from 1925, “1925 Lafayette Modern Interpretive Dance Group.” Other material starting from 2004 consists of articles on season and performances, discussion of Purdue Repertory Dance Company creating new innovative and modern dances concerning various social topics, new technology, and more. Scope and Contents

This folder contains some physical material printed out by Purdue Division of Dance from the corresponding CDs and DVDs. The original digital files are on UA 10, Series 2, "Compact and Digital Versatile Discs" and digital copies have made made available on the archives server for preservation and ease of access.

Scope and Contents

The Purdue University Division of Dance Collection consists of scrapbooks, articles, tickets, brochures and pamphlets, gallery schedules, and photos and videos of performances. This collection will be useful for researchers interested in the history and development of the Purdue University Division of Dance, as well as performers and performances.
