Scope and Contents The sub-series consists of general documents regarding Greek Life on and beyond Purdue’s Campus. Correspondence regarding scholarships, memorial fund, financial aid, fraternity rushes, etiquette, drinking, and discrimination are included. The sub-series also includes scholastic indexes as well as handbooks and manuals regarding organized housing (Health and Safety, Fire and Sanitation, Housemothers materials). Scope and Contents The Fraternities, Sororities and Cooperative Life records span more than 130 years of Greek Life at Purdue. They document the history and operations of more than 80 fraternities, sororities, and cooperative houses. The material in the collection ranges from chapter award congratulations to chapter suspensions, from alumni news to university violations.
