W. P. Kippel papers
Scope and Contents
The W. P. Klippel papers document Klippel's research and work related to light, eyes, and glass. This includes laboratory assignments on topics of illumination, ballistic calibrations, double bridge resistance, circuits, experiment abstracts, and problems in thermodynamics. Also includes publications, including an information booklet from the Allegheny County Soldiers' Memorial, The Eye-Comfort System of Indirect Illumination caatalog B, Haskins Glass Company "A New Creation of Lighting Glassware," a revised edition of "Conservation 'Save the Eyes,' copy of an article from The American Architect titled, 'Indirect illumination for churches and Auditoriums,' 1912, and a general letter from the National x-ray Reflector Company to their customers on the eye comfort system of indirect illumination.
