Scope and Contents
The Class of 1915 collection contains a scrapbook, a memory book, two volumes of bound letters, directories, yearbooks, booklets, programs, photographs, newspaper clippings, and various other documents related to members of the Class of 1915 during and after their time at Purdue University.

Historical Information
The Class of 1915 was an alumni organization at Purdue University. It was founded by Purdue alumni who graduated from the university in 1915. The purpose of the organization was to keep members of the Class of 1915 in contact with one another, through organizing and promoting class reunions, and publishing class newsletters and directories.

Physical Access Information
Materials such as the Class of 1915 Scrapbook, the 60th Reunion Gala Week book, and the Scrap Book of 1915 Debris Yearbook contain some photographs and newspaper clippings that are loosely adhered to the pages or have already detached.
Collection items such as these should be handled with care.
Acquisition Information
The Class of 1915 Scrapbook, the Bound Class of 1915 Letters volumes 1 and 2, the 40th Anniversary Class Yearbook, and the 60th Reunion Gala Week booklet were donated by Herbert S. O'Brien on June 19, 1978. All these materials have brown binding and gold lettering.
Source and date of acquisition for all other items is unknown.
Separated Materials
The "Class of 1915 photographs" file, and a letter and two John Purdue Club publications owned by O'Brien from the "Miscellaneous" file have been transferred to MSP 260, Herbert S. O'Brien papers.
Processing Information
All materials have been housed in acid-free folders and acid-free boxes.
The booklets and programs in the "Booklets and programs" folder were removed from the inside front of the "Scrap Book of 1915 Debris Yearbook" for preservation purposes.
Some loose photographs have been housed in plastic sleeves for preservation purposes.
