Historical Information
The Purdue student newspaper of 1875 was the first newspaper issued on the Purdue University West Lafayette campus. The newspaper was managed, edited, and largely written by faculty member Harvey W. Wiley. Student John Bradford Harper, who later became the first graduate of Purdue University, assisted with advertisements, printing, and gathering of news items.
