Scope and Contents
The collection consists of two items: one certificate inducting student, Virginia Cummings, into the Little Theatre Players group on May 30, 1927 and a 1929 Purdue Exponent article (photocopy) of a Little Theatre Players production announcement.

Historical and Biographical Information
The Little Theatre Players formed in 1917 as a Purdue Organization. They merged with the Harlekin Club in 1930 to form the Harlekin Players, which disbanded two years later, in 1932.
Virginia Cummings, a native of Milwaukee, WI, graduated from Purdue University in 1929. Besides being a member of the Little Theatre Players, she was active in the French Club, the Purdue Girls' Club, the Women's Atlhetic Association, the Y. W. C. A., Class Soccer 2, and Dad's Day Play 2.
