Historical Information
The Class of 1909 graduated 285 students out of 472 that started out as Freshmen in 1905. They adopted the class motto "Our Class Forever," and their class colors were Yale blue and white. In one of their first meetings as Freshmen, they adopted a motion to abolish kissing in the Class of ’09. They also won the annual Tank Scrap against the Sophomores, a notable accomplishment given that they were the first Freshmen class to do so in six years.
