Content Description Collection contains two boxes of VHS tapes of events recorded by the Purdue University News Service. It contains one tape of video from the Purdue Newsreel from 1957-1958, but most of the videos are from the 1980s through the late 2000s with the bulk from the late 1990s through the late 2000s. The videos contain local, regional, and national news stories, research stories, stories about nuclear programs at Purdue, Rube Goldberg competitions, INside Indiana Business, training videos and...

Scope and Contents The Purdue Newsreel began in 1956 as a yearly film, and later video, review of university events of the previous year. Contents of each recording focus upon academics, student activities, campus structures, athletics, and special events. One silent film, circa 1943-1945, is also included in the collection. In 2013, the Purdue Newsreel was renamed the Purdue Year in Review.

Scope and Contents The Purdue University Office of Government Relations records consist of material created or collected by the Office of Government Relations. It includes a letter and brochure on the Advancing Indiana's Manufacturing (AIM) Initiative.

Scope and Contents Two boxes containing nine binders of executive memoranda and policies from the Office of the President, Purdue University, 1922-2001. Includes memos created under the presidencies of Edward Elliott, Frederick Hovde, Arthur Hansen, Steven Beering, and Martin Jischke. Also includes memoranda from the Vice President for Business Services and Treasurer's office, 1927-2001.
