This subseries includes publications, manuscripts, research materials, and electronic media from May's extensive career in children's literature. Of note are research materials used for her publications on Lloyd Alexander and Howard Pyle and on Weston Woods Studios and its founder, Morton Schindel. Correspondence related to May's research can be found in series two.
