Scope and Contents
This sub-series includes publications, manuscripts, research materials, and electronic media from May's extensive career in children's literature. Books written by, used in research, or given to/inscribed by authors are also included. Of note are research materials used for her publications on Lloyd Alexander and Howard Pyle and on Weston Woods Studios and its founder, Morton Schindel. Correspondence related to May's research can be found in series two.
