Scope and Contents
The College of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Communications, images (1950s-2000s; 15.1 cubic feet) is a collection of visual images created by the Department of Agricultural Communications for Purdue University’s College of Agriculture. The collection includes an impressive array of slides dating from the 1960s to 1990s, as well as various 16mm film reels (circa 1950s-1970s), and photographs, film negatives, and contact sheets (circa 1960s to 1980s). Slides form the bulk of the collection. They pertain to a variety of subjects, including Agricultural Communication Service, Agricultural Research Center Farms, Animal Sciences, Pests and Diseases, Cooperative Extension Service, Consumer and Family Sciences, Field Crops, Horticulture Crops, Forestry and Natural Resources, Purdue Campus, and Soil Services.
