Scope and Contents
Found here is some of the historical infomration from the School of Electrical Engineering's earliest years; a brochure titled, Purdue University, Electrical Engineering, 1891; a reprint from, The Electrical World: An illustrated weekly review of current progress in electricity and its practical applications, "The Course in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University," April 4, 1891; along with other pertinent historical publications and reprints from the earliest articles written about Purdue's School of Electrical Engineering.
Also included are various brochures, pamphlets, curriculum material, including a bound volume titled, "Description of Course of Study, School of Electrical Engineering, Purdue University, 1904." A unique item found here is the publication, "Radio Broadcasting at Purdue, by L.A. Geddes, Type of Paper: EE History," August 22, 1986 (dates back to 1910 when wireless telegraphy commenced at Purdue, also describes the start of WBAA in 1922).
