Scope and Contents

In this series there are issues of "The Electrical World: An illustrated weekly review of current progress in electricity and its practical applications," from the late 1800's, and they contain articles about the work Purdue's Electrical Engineering Department was doing at the time. The covers of the periodical also reflect great visual detail. Other early material from the school includes, a ledger/treasury account, "The Electrical Society of Purdue University," circa 1897 - 1927; and a bound volume, "Description of Course of Study, School of Electrical Engineering, Purdue University, 1904." There are also brochures, some titled, "State of the School," a faculty roster from 1987, newsletters, and annual research summaries from 1982 – 1999.
