Scope and Contents

This portion of the collection includes files from 8 CD-R and 2 DVD-R discs. Digital copies of the files were placed on the archives server for preservation and ease of access. The CDs and DVDs with the original files are stored in a communal box. These discs and their corresponding files have been kept in their original order and labeled 001-010. The digital file copies have corresponding numbers. The files contain articles, promotional material, and performance stills and recordings from the Purdue Division of Dance in a variety of text documents, digital photos, and digital videos. These performances span the years 2003-2011 and include the following titles: "Uncanny Alley," "HIDEF," "Bunraku," "Entropy," "Exoskeleton Motion Capture," and "On the Banks of Packet Creek." Some material was printed out by the Purdue Division of Dance and described in UA 10, Series 2 as "Programs and Production Descriptions." An additional item, a Digital Video Cassette, is kept in the communal box with the discs. It is not labeled with a title or a date, and material from this DV cassette has not been transferred to the archives server.

Collection is open for research. Electronic records in this collection have been migrated to an archives server and digital use copies can only be accessed onsite in the Purdue University Archives and Special Collections. Please request digital record prior to arrival.
