Scope and Contents
Within this series is Duncan's first teaching contract as a Purdue University "Instructor in Aviation Technician Program, Technical Institutes, Division of Technical Extension." Also found here are some of the earliest papers from his employment at Purdue, and include departmental course outlines and exams prepared by James Maris, a helicopter course proposal, and guidelines for a proposed Airway Science curriculum. There are a few papers and correspondence... from Duncan'’s work with the University of Illinois Institute of Aviation Alumni Association, and Purdue Department Head’s Council.
One box in this series contains the Purdue Aeronautics Corporation maintenance manual, and all of the revisions from 1956-1958. The last box holds several miscellaneous items such as photographs, an Association for Avionics Education Conference Proceedings, and a Cooperative School and College Ability Test that were separated out for preservation purposes.
