Photograph of John Hussey - 3 1/5" x 4 3/4"   Agricultural Education In College, Hussey, John, Reprinted from Indiana State Board of Agriculture, 1875, pp. 133-140.   Copy of "Church News" which tells of a 50 star American Flag being given to the church which Mrs. Coburn (Rev. Hussey's daughter) attended, as a memorial to her father. There is also a copy of the orders from the Office Provost Marshall,Marietta, Georgia, August 12, 1864, U.S. C. C., for Reverend Mr. Hussey...Through the lines to the front.   Photocopied photograph of the Purdue University agricultural staff. The date is not noted, and Mr. Hussey is not among the group photographed.   Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies, Series 11, vol. VI, Washington, D. C., Entry - Captured at Chattanooga, Rev. John Hussey, United States Christian Commission, Page 101, 482, 483, 513, 514, 607-612.   Early Professor of Botany at Purdue Provides Civil War Historical Chapter: Mrs. Isabel Coburn, Hoopeston, holds picture of father a Civil War chaplain, Faulk, Merrill. [No other publication information is available.]   Photocopy of Rev. John Hussey's biographical information, supplied by his daughter, Mrs. C. L. Coburn. [2 copies]   Copies of newspaper clippings from Mrs. C. L. Coburn. They are difficult to read, but appear to be about John Hussey's colleagues in the Botany Department at Purdue University.   Seven letters of correspondence (1966-1970) between Mrs. Isabel Hussey Coburn and Keith Dowden, Purdue Archives Librarian. Most pertain to possible donations to the Purdue Archives, from Mrs. Coburn.   Our Chaplain, with engraving of Hussey. This is also a song bok, along with a vow by the 1st Brigade, 1st Division of the Army of West Virginia; "That we do solemnly swear that we will not touch or taste a drop of any intoxicating liquor before January, 1866, except by the prescription of a physician."
