Collection includes correspondence between Leonard and former vocational instructors in Agricultural Education at Purdue (ca. 1944-1947), newsletters Purdue sent out to servicemen during World War II (1944-1945), and two oversized photographs of agricultural education activities (ca. 1930s).

These materials were part of the Agricultural Education records of Purdue University. Jerry Peters, a faculty member in Agricultural Education, rescued them from disposal during an office move. He transferred the records to the Archives on July 7, 2021.
