Sub-Group two consists of photograph and negatives pertaining to construction, operation, and administration of the Thermal Sciences and Propulsion Center.

Following the speeches in sub-group six are three boxes of references which appear to be gathered for the purpose of drafting speeches. Reference materials are arranged in alphabetical order by Armstrong's own subject headings.

The DVD is narrated by Ralph Schneck and includes footage of the special places of his youth, military training and service in the army. The video helps the viewer to travel back in time and gain perspective on Schneck’s life experiences.

Found in series two is a comprehensive collection of speeches and addresses written and given by Arthur G. Hansen during his tenure as president of Georgia Institute of Technology, Purdue University, and Texas A&M University.

Types of materials include: photo-and-slide albums, blueprints, instructional materials for courses, notebooks and workbooks, photographs, negatives, films, books, microfilm, and slides.  The papers are organized into five series, three of which have been further arranged into sub-series.

The David Solomon papers contains Solomon's typescript for "Psychedelic Satire," a letter to Timothy Leary, other correspondence, a photocopy of Don Allen's talk on LSD, a poem, notes and correspondence pertaining to "Flight to Reality," Duncan Blewett's proposal for an "Institute for Studies in Normal Psychology, survey of a psychedelic questionnaire, description of a mescaline trip, materials pertaining to Solomon's friend, Robert Burdette.

The commemorative photo books were gifted to Cernan by Barron Hilton, after the annual trips or other events the two took with friends. each summer. The bound books were full of photos taken of activites while on the trips.

Also included are audio recordings of the Black Cultural Arts Festival, poetry readings, and concerts performed by various non-Purdue affiliated university and black choral groups.
