Biographical Information

John Hardwick Ferguson was born in 1951 in Gentry County, Missouri (MO). He graduated from King City High School in 1969, and went on to earn a Bachelors and Masters in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Missouri (Mizzou). In 1973, while attending Mizzou, John and other Mizzou students and faculty visited the agricultural facilities at Purdue University.

After graduation, John taught vocational agriculture in Fredericktown and Savannah, MO, before becoming a researcher and project manager for the DeKalb County Soil & Water District. At the time of his death, John was an agricultural engineering specialist for the University of Missouri Extension Service, and a paramedic and EMT with the Gentry County Ambulance Service. John passed away in 2002.

Scope and Contents This collection includes 30 photographs of Purdue's campus, taken when John visited Purdue along with other students and faculty from the University of Missouri in the Spring of 1973.
