Schwartz, Mary Lou, 1940-2002

Mary Lou Wiekamp was born in South Bend, Indiana, on June 3, 1940, and attended Northwestern University, where she graduated with a B.A. in education. She married Dennis J. Schwartz in 1963. After her death in 2002, Dennis donated $3 million in honor of Mary Lou to what became the Dennis J. and Mary Lou Schwartz Tennis Center at Purdue, his alma mater.
