Pankow, Rick

Biographical Information

Richrd "Rick" Pankow is the second of Charlie and Doris Pankow’s four children. After he graduated from UCLA in 1973 with a bachelor’s degree in economics, he pursued a career in banking. He worked for 25 years with Bank of America, primarily in its commercial banking division. From 1999 to 2005, he was senior vice president at Comerica Bank, with responsibility for the corporate banking group of the Northern Los Angeles region.

Like his brothers, “Chip” (Charles J. Pankow III) and Steve, Rick Pankow worked on Pankow construction sites during summers between college semesters. He worked on three projects in all, including the Sixth and Harvard office building in the Mid-Wilshire district of Los Angeles and buildings in downtown Los Angeles and Orange County.
