Biographical Information

Roberta Miriam Craig graduated from Purdue University in December 1942 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta (where she was called "Bobbie"), as well as the Activities Bureau, the Union, and the Virginia C. Meredith Club. She married Arthur G. Bitzer (BSME 1942) on February 6, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois. Together they raised two children, Nancy (Bitzer) Sturgeon and John Craig Bitzer (BSME 1970). She passed away March 20, 2015.
