Abstract The collection consists of the first day cover for the 100th Anniversary of the First Official Airmail, Balloon "Jupiter" which ascended from Lafayette, Indiana, August 16, 1859, along with a certificate of authenticity and a copy of the souvenir booklet. There are four "Jupiter" stamps and six other related airmail stamps in the collection.
