Scope and Contents The Collection of Midwestern Maps (1825-1925; 7 linear feet) documents roads, counties, and geography of Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, and Illinois. It features several pocket maps, including one attached to the inside cover of a small travel booklet. Some maps note territory status of current states, such as Michigan. Not all counties are represented on all maps. One map is written in French.

Scope and Contents Documents, newspaper clippings, and photocopies of materials pertaining to the Delta Delta chapter of Sigma Chi, the first fraternity formed at Purdue University in 1875. After Purdue University President Emerson White abolished Greek societies on campus, a member of Sigma Chi sued the University. This collection documents the legal dispute and is sometimes referred to as the Purdue case or Sigma Chi case.

Abstract The Collection of Tycho Brahe engravings (1 flat case file; 1662) contains 15 engravings (all on paper) that were once pages from Joan Blaeu’s Atlas maior, siue, Cosmographia Blauiana : qua solum, salum, cœlum, accuratissime describuntur.  The engravings illustrate Brahe’s astronomical instruments and observations from his observatories, Uraniborg and Stjerneborg, in Hven, Sweden.
