According to the donor, Charles (Chuck) Klinger, the LIMP RIVET was a collegiate humor magazine comparable to the Harvard LAMPOON, Michigan State SPARTAN, Michigan GARGOYLE and the Ohio State SUNDIAL. Scope and Contents The Glennard Miller scrapbook contains 24 pages of photographs affixed to black paper documenting student life at Purdue in the late 1910s and early 1920s. Images include campus scenes, student activities, sporting events, military band, and steam engine lab, as well as photographs documenting the incident of Harry Weinshank being run off campus by his classmates for repeatedly impersonating a military officer.
