Scope and Contents From the Collection: The Robert C. Thompson papers (1949-1951; 0.8 cubic feet) documents campus life during Robert Thompson’s time at Purdue University.  They feature material related to Thompson’s study of mechanical engineering, including artifacts he created in a machine shop course.  Student life is also represented in dormitory photographs, student rule handbooks and student publications.  Types of materials include: photographs, negatives, artifacts, and booklets.

Scope and Contents This series contains photographs and photographic negatives created by or sent to Dr. Cornell Bell. Subjects of the photographs include Cornell and Mildred Bell, members of the Bell family, Business Opportunity Program staff and students, and personal vacations, among others.

A small number of additional photographs can also be found within the correspondence series, where they have been stored with the letters they were initially sent with.

Scope and Contents This sub-series includes photographs related to Cornell Bell's personal life. Subjects include Cornell and Mildred Bell, Cornell's friends and family, the families and lives of former Business Opportunity Program students, and Cornell's travels.

Subjects of interest include Cornell receiving the Special Boilermaker Award, Cornell at various stages of his life, high school reunions with former students of Cornell's, and Cornell's 20 years of service Appreciation Banquet.
