Subjects include Cornell and Mildred Bell at various stages of their lives; members of Cornell's family; former students from Cornell's time as a high school teacher and Director of the Business Opportunity Program; the families, homes, and travels of friends and former students; Cornell and Mildred's home in Gary, IN; and various wedding and funeral ceremonies.

Scope and Contents This sub-group contains portraits taken of Cornell Bell at various stages of his life. The majority were taken during his career at Purdue, but the collection also includes portraits from his childhood, young adulthood, and his time as a high school teacher and principal.
