Scope and Contents
Per Bridges, "The LANTIRN Program Office fielded the pods on fighter aircraft allowing them to fly low level at night in rugged terrain using infrared sensors and displays that the pilots used to navigate visually. We did extensive development testing of these pods using F-16's at Edwards AFB while I was the Wing and Center Commander."
