Marching Band, circa 1890-2014
The Marching Band sub-series consists of photographs, negatives, 35mm slides, and View-Master reels of the Purdue Military Band and All-American Marching Band. The subjects consist primarily of the two bands performing at football games, but also includes shots of the bands performing at the Indianapolis 500, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Indiana State Fair, as well as other national and international events.

This sub-series contains photographs, negatives, and 35mm slides of the Purdue Jazz Bands. Subjects include the Purdue Jazz Festival, the Montreux Jazz Festival, the National Music Council Tour, and other national and international concerts hosted or performed at by the Purdue Jazz Bands.
