Scope and Contents This series contains both typed and handwritten manuscripts of short stories, poetry, essays, novels and novellas, plays, and sermons from throughout Smith's career. The bulk of the manuscripts are short stories. This series is organized chronologically, and Smith's folder names and numbering have been retained wherever possible. When a folder title was not given, one was created and placed in brackets on the folder.
