This sub-series is comprised of front page headline stories about the Purdue bleacher collapse that occurred on February 25, 1947 during the halftime of the Purdue versus Wisconsin game. The newspapers have been retained, but scans have been made for preservation purposes. Also included are a few key photographs that appeared in some of the press releases about the tragedy.
