Scope and Contents The artifacts series houses items of various sizes and in a variety of media, and includes artwork, awards, memorabilia, and some collected items most likely from Neil Armstrong's youth. Much of the artwork came as gifts to Armstrong from colleagues, friends, and admirers. Scope and Contents This sub-series brings together a variety of objects collected by Neil Armstrong throughout his life. There is a wide range of different artifacts here, including a piece of the Berlin Wall, items from Armstrong's military career, Boy Scout memorabilia, two magic kits and a model train set from his youth, a segment of the Graf Zeppelin, a signed drawing of professional baseball player Bob Feller, as well as many business cards, decals, and patches from a variety of events and organizations.
