Scope and Contents From the Sub-Group: The training files contain a wide variety of materials used specifically in the astronaut training programs which led to the success of the Apollo missions. Neil Armstrong played a large role in designing both simulation training exercises and in the development of the Lunar Landing Research Vehicle (LLRV).
