Biographical Information

Jules Janick was born in New York City in 1931. He entered Cornell University at the age of 16 and received his bachelor's degree in agriculture in 1951. Janick received his master's and Ph.D. degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding in 1952 and 1954 respectively. Janick was a Research Fellow at Purdue from 1951-1954.
