Collection — Box: Communal Collections 1, Placement: 02
Identifier: MSP 189

Scope and Contents

The Collection of 1967 Rose Bowl Materials (1966-1967; 0.025 cubic feet) documents the Purdue football team’s participation in the Rose Bowl. The materials also include information on the associated Rose Bowl parade and the event itself. Although the collection is small, it provides a fairly complete account of the Rose Bowl, its participants, and associated events. Missing from the collection is an account of the game itself, although this information can be found in related collections. This collection would be useful to researchers interested in sports or football history, material culture of the 1960s, or the Rose Bowl. Types of materials include papers, pamphlets, and promotional materials. The collection is organized in a single series.
