Biographical Information

John W. Esterline graduated from Purdue University in 1897 and subsequently became an instructor of electrical engineering. He won a silver medal for an exhibit based on his research into the magnetic properties of iron and steel at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, held in St. Louis in 1904.
