Biographical Information

Carey W. Carrick was born approximately 1892-1893. He married Grace Council on October 11, 1922, in Guilford, North Carolina, and they had one daugher, Grace Ann. He earned his Master of Science and Master of Arts from New York State College of Agriculture and Cornell University. He worked for the Massachusetts Agricultural College and Extension Service in Poultry Keeping, at the Norfolk County Sgricultural School in Walpole, Massachusetts. Carrick also worked at the Purdue University Agricultural Experiment Station. According to the 1940 U.S. Census, Carrick and his family were still living in West Lafayette, Indiana, at the time.
